Kinesio-Tape

Kinesio-Tape® (K-Tape)

K-Tape is a therapeutic taping technique. It has been shown to: accelerate the management of acute injuries, control pain and discomfort, facilitate and support weakened tissues, and aid and assist functional movements.

Depending on the goal, K-Tape can be applied in variety of ways. This includes to: minimize pain or filter out swelling, become a protective barrier for damaged and healing tissues, stimulate and activate weakened tissues, or guide and facilitate normal and natural movements.

K-Tape has the ability to reduce pain, prevent injuries, promote good circulation and healing, and re-educate your neuromuscular system, enhancing your performance. Yes, tape can do ALL this!

K-Tape provides comfort and stability. Athletes and patients are offered a more gentle approach during rehabilitation and competition than those provided by conventional athletic tapes. We usually hear, “It actually works and it doesn’t feel like I have anything on!”

Great candidates for this type of treatment are the active population seeking supplemental aids while wearing protective braces, those with muscle weakness, swelling, decreased range of motion, and limited function.

As seen on T.V., Kinesio-Tape® has frequently been worn by professional athletes!
